Story of a full-remote culture

Recently, I had the chance to open the Android Makers event in its Virtual 2020 edition (https://androidmakers.fr). The keynote I did was about remote work and especially the culture it requires to work efficiently in a remote context.
Obviously remote has been a strong trend for many years now, but the current COVID situation made it mandatory for a tremendous amount of people from one day to another. So if this talk can help anyone (and especially any company) at any scale, I’m glad to at least try to share my experience and make this period a bit easier to go through.

You’ll find right below the link to the keynote on the dedicated Android Makers streaming platform – it will also be available on YouTube in the coming weeks (the talk starts at 10’00 😉) :

The slides are also on Speakerdeck: https://speakerdeck.com/happydr0id/story-of-a-full-remote-culture-android-makers-2020

You can also find the French version of this talk I made at a local GDG meetup at Rennes:

I also take the opportunity of this article to thank one more time the Android Makers organization team 🙏 They are doing a really great job for years now, and being able to still have this kind of big tech event in the current special situation is a blessing 🤩
